Mini Lesson Plan: The Misunderstanding (grades 6-8)

After reading the Perception story called “The Misunderstanding,” students will take part in some follow-up activities to enhance the learning experience. The idea for this role-play came from one of my former seventh-grade students. It demonstrates the importance of checking your facts before jumping to conclusions when hearing a rumor.
